The EPC Mechanical Construction Coordinator position is a construction management professional position in the EPC project delivery organization with responsibility and accountability for coordination/planning of all Mechanical Equipment related construction activities under the project, while ensuring the work is performed in conformance with the project plans, specification, standards, schedule, and cost requirements.

Description
and Desired Qualifications
Planning,
scheduling, budgeting, quality, safety, and coordination of mechanical
equipment site activities
Provide
Assistance to Mechanical Equipment Craft Supervision on Requests for
Information, material needs, document needs/submittals and any required
needs/coordination
Identification
of Mechanical Equipment related schedule and cost variances and the development
and implementation of recommendations for corrective action for negative
variances
Ensure that
the company project delivery processes are implemented and maintained for
project Mechanical Equipment construction activities
Responsible
for Mechanical Equipment construction interface with Engineering, Document
Control, Project Controls, Safety, Quality Control, Startup and Commissioning,
and Procurement (as required)
Overall
responsibility for the resolution of site Mechanical Equipment related problems
(Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Start Up)
Responsible
to assure all Mechanical Equipment related material takeoffs, man hour
estimates and material requisition materials are completed to support the overall
construction schedule
Responsible
for the Mechanical Equipment Change Management Process
Responsible
for all site issued Mechanical Equipment Bid Packages
Responsible
for input/review of Mechanical Equipment related Performance and Cost system
(Earned Value)
Responsible
for overall Mechanical Equipment related coordination functions such as RFIs,
minutes of meetings, correspondence controls, submittal controls, develop
transmittals, etc.
Basic
Qualifications
5 years
Mechanical Equipment coordination/planning experience on similar projects
Recognized
Industry experience and expertise
Four-year
degree in construction or related field (or equivalent Technical Training
and/or experience)
OSHA 30 Hour
Training
Demonstrate

Mechanical

BOP
Equipment Installation - Pumps, Fans/Blowers, Compressors, Receivers/Tanks,
Coolers, Chiller, Equipment Package Skids, Etc.

Equipment Installation: Combustion Turbine Generator and Auxiliaries Steam
Turbine Generator and Auxiliaries On-Base Piping Auxiliary Skids - Lube Oil,
Hydraulic Oil, Cooling water, Fuel Oil/Gas, Compressed Air, Others as required
