A leading
fashion retail group is hiring for
Country
Manager to be based in Kuwait and Bahrain
To deliver
and manage all commercial and operational aspects of the business across the
Country of operation through effective people management and achieve sales and
profit growth in line with the business plan
Reporting in to
the Head of Retail
Operations
Ensure
alignment of the regional/ area/store teams with the overall business strategy.
Ensure
achievement of sales targets which have been set for the country.
Drive
excellence in store opening deliverables in the country using the corporate
guidance framework.
Work with
stores in the region on controllable costs and review profit and loss of each
store and see GP margin, GP percentage etc is achieved as per business plan
Conduct
merchandise probes in consultation with regional/area/store managers to
optimize department wise /category wise sales
Collaborate
positively with the project (store design), merchandise, visual teams to drive
layout, pricing and department / category wise changes as appropriate in the
stores keeping in mind the Corporate guidelines
Enhance
sales through identification and analysis of trends as per footfall, conversion
rates, average bill value, individual SKU sales, suggestive mark downs etc. for
the region/country
Improve
overall profitability by applying in depth customer and competitor
knowledge;
Establish
clear and regular channels of communication to ensure stores in the country and
region are up to date and consistent in focusing on key priorities and driving
sales.
Ensure
stores and staff presentation and standards are in line with the brand
requirements and are consistent across stores in the region/country.
Draw up
media plans as per Corporate Guidelines for the country and regions
Ensure
timely, consistent and efficient implementation of marketing promotions as per
the guidelines across all country/region/stores to drive sales and customer
service.
Ensure
stores in the country follow Corporate VM guidelines (including seasonal and
promotional/ window guidelines) and are easy to shop, delivering consistently
on inspirational customer service experience.
Act as a
country SPOC for all customer complaints and escalations etc.
Ensure clear
lines of communication between RDC and stores are established to ensure
efficient co-ordination of stock and inventory management.
Enforce
standard operating procedures to maintain stock and systems accuracy and profit
protection across all stores in the country.
Work in
partnership with the RDC team to deliver an efficient and effective stock
replenishment and oversee that stores are adequately stocked and maintain stock
cover.
Ensure
optimal staffing in region through manpower planning at the stores with HRBP as
per guidelines.

PG:MBA/PGDM
- Any Specialization
Doctorate:Any
Doctorate - Any Specialization, Doctorate Not Required
Post
graduate in finance, Business Management or Retail Management
Related and
relevant Fashion Retail experience of minimum 10-15 years with direct
responsibility for P&L and Administrative management of atleast 20-30 Large
format Stores with Atleast US$35-40 Million Sales Turnover responsibility.
Gulf
Experience will be preferred.
Strong
analytical skills and influencing skills
