We now have an opportunity for an experienced HR generalist to join us and help support the growth our UK Oil & Gas team.
Based in Guildford the post holder will provide a proactive HR service to the division, driving attraction and retention strategies to develop and maintain our brand as an employer of choice contributing to the achievement of the short, medium and long term objectives of the Division.

Description
Reporting to
the Divisional Manager, this role sits within our UK based Oil, Gas and
Petrochemicals team and will be responsible for providing an HR advisory and
support service to the division.
Candidate Specification
Essential
academic, professional qualifications and experience, competencies and skills:
Chartered
MCIPD or Graduate CIPD (or equivalent) with post qualification generalist
experience
Sound
knowledge and practical application of current UK employment law, procedures
and processes
Ability to
communicate effectively, succinctly and professionally and the ability to wield
influence on HR related issues and communicate effectively at all levels
Customer
driven, collaborative and hands-on approach and able to identify pragmatic
business focussed solutions to problems, ability to see the bigger picture and
think through the wider implications of action
Confident
self starter with a successful track record of delivering at a Senior HR
Generalist level
Strong
organisational capability, able to meet deadlines and manage large volumes of
work and provide creative solutions to problems
Flexible and
able to travel at short notice across the UK to other offices/sites
